Nokia Siemens 1600 router

I have a Nokia Siemens 1600 router. It is not working properly. When I switch on power all indicators glow as usual. Then DSL indicator slowly blinks. as soon as it gets stable all indicators glow again for a moment and then all indicators go off except power.This goes on and on.Please help

1. re install its firmware. (may help)2. bring a new modem or give it to your excahnge to repair it.

I would like go with options1 but I dont know how to do it 🙁
