Yes, he did from ebay. I don't know the name of seller but I will let you know very soon. All I can remember is price tag (hefty 34K) and warranty is not obviously from Nokia India but seller offered 1 year of same.

Yes. 808 will come to India for sure. Indians are crazy for mega pixels and symbian still has market here compared to west.
Here comes the low-cost Windows Phone-powered smartphone from Nokia. Nokia has finally launched its much-awaited low-cost Lumia smartphone - the Nokia Lumia 610 - in India.
Priced at Rs 12,999, the phone features a 3.7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. It also sports a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash.
Weighing 131.5g, the Nokia Lumia 610 offers 8 GB memory (the phone doesn't have a micro-SD slot) plus SkyDrive cloud storage. The phone has 256 MB RAM.
The Nokia Lumia 610 runs Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. Users can use the phone as a WiFi Hotspot for up to 5 WiFi-enabled devices.
Nokia also announced a limited edition Dark Knight Rises Nokia Lumia 800 phone. Only 200 units of the special edition device will be made available in India.
Now people would complain about 'only' 256MB RAM. Seriously, Nokia could have spent a little more considering RAM isn't costly now and shut up some mouths. The design looks neat, need to check if it feels as good in the hand. This should be available soon for 11.5 - 12K at most
Mostly it will launch at around 14 I feel & then after a couple of weeks/months drop to 11-12... As even 710 started off at around 18-20...
Ahem... So they have priced it higher (MRP) & will likely come down in 2-3 weeks....
