Nokia 5, Nokia 3, and a modern Nokia 3310 to be announced at MWC 2017
What about the aforementioned feature phone? Surprisingly, it's said that this will be a "modern version" of the famous Nokia 3310 (pictured above). Originally released way back in 2000, the Nokia 3310 was sold in over 100 million units, gaining fame for being extremely durable and reliable, while offering long battery life. There's no word on the features of this alleged modern take on the Nokia 3310, but we know that the phone might cost around $60.
Who wants it? 😛

Give it VoLTE support and it should sell well. I am still waiting for Reliance to launch their 'feature phone'.

this one only has 2g support. i mean i get it... this one can be used in the jungles of africa. but it would have been great to have a vintage phone with support for volte.

nope. just plain 2g. typical feature phone. that would stop working in some european countries in a year or two iirc. this is mainly for nostalgia.

2G should last in India for at least a few more years. Though Jio has ensures a faster death.

Considering it does not even look and feel like a Nokia 3310 (atleast to me) ... There seems to be no point unless the "name" Nokia 3310 is what you like - I mean, this is just as like a new Nokia feature phne model to me...
