One more request...Has anyone has baught this phone in India and Used in US? I am looking for a phone that can be used in US.

Yes it has TDA/CDMA in smaller cities. Places like LA, NY or DC have GSM as well as *DMA.

Hi cyrux, the 6600 is too old, too bulky & too slow.
The 3230 is a great "best buy" candidate. And it has only as many problems as any other OS-phone would (just like windows CAN cause lot of problems, but those who maintain it well have no troubles).


Netfreak, the 3230 would work fine in the US+India, and just about everywhere in GSM areas - because its a tri-band phone - LINK

Yeah even i heard that as time passes by the so called bugs in an OS are rectified. So Nokia 3230 is definitely a good choice . I am also getting good reviews on nokia 6630 , its been described as the best phone in its class. I am thinking on finalising on this one . What say ?
