No Headphones in Windows 7 Playback devices

Got new headphones. Plugged in my Windows 7 PC which was formatted 2 days back.The sound is low, I found out that the playback devices lists only speakers, no icon for playback devices.I use Creative Sound Blaster sound card.Is there any way to fix it?
