I am trying to setup my HDFC card on Cards - Mobile Wallet - Apps on Google Play. Unfortunately, my phone's NFC won't pick it up. I have tried using NFC testing apps to pickup the card details but doesn't work. But on the other hand all other bank's cards are recognized by the phone's NFC.
I am using OP7T and have tried on OP7 as well.

So is HDFC using some special NFC tech for their cards?

Hdfc just disabled tap to pay feature so try re enable it again on hdfc website?

NFC chips can only be read/ modified by other NFC chips. How can HDFC turn off the NFC chip in the card without power?

Tap to pay is working on POS. Also can you point me where i can find this setting?
Also disabling tap to pay will not result in nfc tap not getting recognised. Instead the transaction will fail.

Oh I see... I dont remember the place on the website but should be around where you set transaction limits?

Yea, found it and checked. It is turned on. It is same for debit cards as well. Only HDFC card is not being recognised. Can someone try to check if hdfc card works on their nfc
