Sorry, if the answers are already there somewhere in the forum.How long does it take to get going after I call MTNL Delhi to start DSL service?Is 256 Kbps a good enough speed for browsing? What is the process to get started?What are the night hours for the TriB 590NU plan? Stupid question but are there any plans similar to TriB 590NU for speeds higher than 256 Kbps?I plan to browse about 2 hours of active browsing everyday. Would a 2GB plan be enough? How much do you guys use? Just wanted to get an approx. figure based on the usage of members like you.Thanks for all the answers/tips/responses.

our capacity is to digest 45 GB a month!!it depends on what u browse and download.....256 is good speed abd best available in India today.

#2GB would be sufficient if you dont d/l much. BTW theres 2GB plan only for TriB 1199. NU has 1GB limit and ofcourse NU 

How much do you guys use? Just wanted to get an approx. figure based on the usage of members like you.
#My triband plan is sufficient for me. I would be switching to DSL 599plan(512kbps)

Guys, i need to make myself clear before taking dis mtnl triband connection.In all their tariff plans dey hv mentioned hours as unlimited,wht does dis mean?Does it mean unlimited hours for surfing&free data downoad upto 700mb in the 399plan or is their any charge for surfing?

surfing is basically downloading from the net.. dude.... when you surf online.. you do download some amount of data... and this is billed against your monthly limit...and unlimited hjours is that its available 24*7*365 .. ... . just a marketing gimmick(though it is available at anytime of the day or night)and free data download limit upto 700 is that you wont be charged extra until your monthly quata doesnt exceed 700 ... after that its 1 Re. per mb ..hope this helps.

512 kbps is also available...but i am sure you mean 256 is the max with the unlimited night plan...

BTW...how do the 512 kbps compare to 256 kpbs...of course theoretically it should be double but do you(who might have used both) see substantial difference while browsing?

For people who have high usage(like you) I am sure must be using the unlimited night plan...or if i am wrong, which other plans do you guys have?
