Hello,
I currently use Local Cable Internet which gives me 10-20mbps unlimited plan for Rs.1200 per month but its disconnected sometimes and some sites,it does not load properly.
So i am looking for a new connection.I have looked at plans from Tata Sky Broadband,Airtel,You Broadband and am also considering Jio.
You Broadband is out as it is expensive than my current Set-up for higher speed and Unlimited Plans.
TATASKY Broadband is in consideration but I haven't heard of it much before so i'm a little skeptical about it and it offers similar speed to my current plan and unlimited data for around Rs 1200
Airtel is also in consideration as it has an 8mbps unlimited plan for Rs 699 but i don't know if they will provide exact speed or is it lower than 8mbps and also i am looking for a bit more speed and i am ready to pay a little more
And Jio GigaFiber which this thread is about,it is perfect as it is providing great speed and it is free excluding the Security Deposit but i have a few question about it.
1)Does it allow torrents?
2)I read somewhere than it has WAN and router bridging problems,if i get Jio Gigafiber,i want to be able to connect it to my Cisco Router which is further connected by Extender's throughout the house.Is this gonna be a problem?
3)I download alot and am used to unlimited connections.Jio is supposed to have 100gb monthly limit but i have read somewhere that it allows 25 times 40gb top up for free every month,is this true?
4)Is Jio GigaFiber free plans are just for 3months
5)When is the expected launch date for Jio GigaFiber commercial availability,i am asking this as Jio's launch will affect prices of plans throughout broadband industry which will help me decide which brand to go for.
6)My Usage is 500--1000gb per month(i have always used unlimited plans).I want around 500-1000gb(or unlimited) at 50-100mbps per month for around Rs1000-1200,will Airtel,TataSky,You and Jio offer plans that suit me after Jio's Launch
