New FM channel in calicut - Mango FM

Malayala Manorama's Radio Mango 91.9 FM is launched in Kozhikode. It is the first private FM radio station in Kerala. Radio Mango will launch three more stations at Kochi, Kannur and Thrissur. The government has given a nod to the launch of 17 new FM radio stations in Kerala.

They didnt get have the license for TVM in the bidding. But TVM is expecting 5 new players who have recieved the license to start soon including Mathrubhumi's Club FM, Reliance Big FM and Radio Mirchi etc. Radio DC has already started their community FM few months back.if you have a strong reciever, you can listen to the Suryan FM from Thirunelveli, FM Nagercoil and some sinhalese FM from Sri Lanka.
