I am told this 'box' is ideal since it has MPEG4 compression which will use up only about 2 GB of storage as opposed to 15 GB for the MPEG2 compression.
Also this is a external USB input gadget and has hardware encoding. This should be the best for recording TV items and coverting to DVDs or VCDs. Right?
