Net connection through Idea

Can anybody explain the quality for the internet usage of idia's unlimited plan for Rs. 300 pm. What is the average speed, which hand set is suitable for this connection . handset with EDGE future required for this? Pls guide me.
 
I am having an idea connection for Rs 97/- month, which gives me 650 MB. For my mobile use, I am satisfied, and the speed I am getting is around 25 kbps.
