need to replace mtnl with other broadband provider ?

I have a user of the MTNL dsl broadband service for a while now. But lately their service has been god damn awful.
For Mumbai, does any one recommend any good broadband ISP's

Now Mumbai is practically a mini state. You need to find out the alternative options available in your region first.

5 Mbps with 50GB fup costs around 1400. Not the best plan, but better than what tata had earlier.
