Do check if you guys are getting new routers or refurbished ones. My Friend who got the connection after me got a refurbished product. So please check with them.
Torrenting is fine, just enable UPnP in software settings and router settings for best possible speeds. As for Signal coverage I personally never faced issue in a 3 BHK hourse with nearly 200 sqyds carpet area. Just keep the router in center of house and as away from walls as possible (possibly along a side and not a corner in general for any router)
Router is dual band for all new connections that have been given since public launch of Jio Fiber, only the beta people may yet have to swtich to new ones if they haven't already.
If possible prefer the table resting one over the wall hanging one (in choice of router).
Landline works in tandem with router being on and is okay if the landline set you are using is not too old.
Since last few months I have been using more than 3TB data on my router courtsey of hosting a Tor Relay so so I can vouch for stability atleast at my place

Modem/router was new as the box was sealed & opened in front of me. But then it was a mass installation in our colony & they had kept all their equipment in our soc office. My stb may have been refurbished as the Mac on the box & device didn't match. Never bothered as I don't really use it.
Is there any difference between post paid and ore paid plans in terms of installation cost , security deposit etc . ? I feel monthly tariffs are the same for both . Which one is preferable among them ?
Update: after 30 days of trial FRC I recharged 399+GST=470. Getting 27-28 MBps constant from OVH EU servers or Hetzner, and 20-22 from DO SG, peering with NL/SG/FR/DE good but not to US/UK example DO US gives around 2-5 Mbps average during peak hours.
@Xposed Is there any information available when the undersea cables would be fixed? I am getting horrible pings to Amazon Bahrain servers on 2 ISP's and also on VPN (express VPN).
