Hi,I am interested in get the MTNL broadband connection for my mom to be able to make Skype / VOIP video calls and wanted to know if MTNL do support that.Are there any Skype / VOIP handsets available in Mumbai at the moment ?Any help will be highly appreciated.

I use Skype and Facetime and both work fine with video enabled. MTNL recently increased upload speeds on all their plans and that has helped improve the quality of Skype calls for me.
Its slower than a tortise.

If MTNL works, then it works. For me its decent with 2 mbps night plan and 15 ms pings.

A 1mbps / 256k will be enough for video chats...
