Need help in suggesting compatible WiFi Router for BSNL -FTTH modem(converter) : Ecolife HG850a

Hi Friends, I have recently taken BSNL- FTTH connection for my home, since airtel was delaying in in servicing. I am confused on wifi router piece...if someone can suggest the hasselfree with secured wifi environment for my home?? please appreciate your experience with model no to find it on online...thanks in advance.

I have Asus-RT-N66U, with my 3TB external HDD attached. Router is running RTORRENT so all the downloading done by router itself and save to HDD. I can access HDD wirelessly from my laptop.
I can even access HDD at my work place, it is like having 3TB Dropbox.

I know, there is only movies, music and tv shows (not shas bahu Indian show) on my hdd.

If I want redundancy I will go for raid-5 NAS.

@redpen How to download through rtorrent? I have a TP-Link TD-W8968 Router with USB port and a 2TB hard drive. Please guide me how to go about the setup?

@invader it is modem+router so it will not work for you. You need just router which is compatible with dd-wrt.
