Need appropriate modem for custom router.

Hi. I am purchasing this( Tenda AC10 )Tenda AC10 router for BharatFiber since the Syrotech ones they provide are sh!t. So i need a modem to convert the pon incoming fiber to... ethernet I think. Not sure but tell me what else I will require with this router.

Nothing else u just need an onu/ont without wifi to convert optical signal into electronic one. Rest all work will be done by ur router. Before purchasing better ask ur vendor first, what if he dont provide onus without wifi or don't agree to let u use ur own non wifi onu with ur Tenda ac 10

Avoid Tenda, it has lot of limitations to go with BSNL FTTH Broadband using Syrotech.

@armaan_99 no dude, the Syrotech does not have 100mbps on 2.4ghz for some reason and the 5ghz does not even penetrate walls.

@Xtinction Avoid Tenda, go with TP-Link C6 Archer.

Go with Tenda only if Syrotech authenticate with OLT properly.

My Syrotech gives issue with authentication (screenshot) and Tenda misbehaves very badly.

@armaan_99 yeah, I decided after looking for a while that I will get the C6 but I am pretty sure I need an ont device that will give the internet through ethernet to the router. Please send Amazon link for a good ont(cheap one if possible) that also has RJ 11 port for a telephone.

You already have Syrotech, it supports gigabit port, you just go with C6 Archer, it should solve the purpose.

Your current onu does not have gigaport?

If onu supports gigaport no need to change onu, only buying C6 Archer is enough.

Update :- Configure your Router(ONU) in bridge mode. Disable WiFi and DHCP and also if the default ip if you find same of your new C6 Archer, change the ip of your ONU.
