Asking this for a friend's dad. He is using a Nokia mobile as of now, but wants to change. Budget is 10K. It will be nice if you can suggest a good Nokia phone itself. No QWERTY, no slide, no resistive touch. Normal alpha numeric keyboard or Capacitive touch screen is fine. He is also ok with other brands with simple OS as it is for his dad. Please help. Thanks.

I think there was a mobile from iBall particularly for this segment. Can't recollect the name - aasaan or something

Yeah aasan is a rebranded chinese mobile..but it is very basic... more suited to 70+ yrs category, it costs abt 3 k, I think

Thanks guys. But please suggest a full fledged mobile than a basic one. He is not that old and would like to have a good music player and video player. Any not so complex mobile (even capacitive touch is fine) within 10K will be ok.

Thanks Rusty. Please help me find a full fledged mobile with good music and video player.

Nokia 5130, Cost around 4-4.5k, Good sound + Good build quality + Made by Nokia. (Not saying Nokia is better than others but their quality is better, so even if it drops it won't break.)

@ sai,Thanks, will check.@ RustyThanks. He prefers a Nokia mobile but open to other options too. Does it have a music player ?

www . phonearena . com/phonesGo there, click "Show Full Specs"Select whatever u want and u will get exact phone. There is www gsmarena com as well but I find phone arena better.

Thanks Amish. Will check that site for specs. Is there any capacitive touch phone from Nokia under 10 K ? or a good non touch phone around 10K ?

I dont know, I dont much have interest in keeping up with phone models. But u shud go to that site put in the specs. In your case DISABLE things like wifi, HSDPA etc. otherwise it will show high end mobiles too.So bring down ur search results to few phone and then check price range online somewhere... i think gsmarena allows u to search by price range as well.

Since it is not for me, I cannot take the risk. I can select only a model which is rated good based on some user experience. Thanks for the link.
