It is saw obvious that these people have made a cartel. They do most things at same time.

Like change in plans, change it rates etc.

I have a colleague who uses his WB Airtel number in my city as roaming. Whenever I call him, my call becomes STD call.
He is planning to port his Airtel number to local circle. So wanted to know if it is possible to port within same operator from different circles?
Also after porting is successful, if we call that number, would call be counted as local or STD?

i am guessing for mobile number portability to work, all operators have to add support together 😕

Steps for NMNP:

1. Visit any Vodafone Store/outlet
2. Generate a 8 digit UPC code by sending a sms ‘Port <your mobile no>’ to 1900
3. Fill up the CAF and porting-in form and submit relevant documents
4. Choose your tariff plan

@SVK yes porting to same operator in different circle is possible.

In your case, that STD number will become local number.
