We’ve added some new features to our Whois Privacy product, giving you a full suite of privacy and security protections.
Whois Privacy is now Advanced Security
All existing registrations with Whois Privacy have been upgraded to Advanced Security, and the purchase/renewal price remains the same. The upgraded product includes:
Domain Lock Plus: You can enable a domain lock that prevents internal transfers, registry transfers, and contact updates. After initial setup, the lock can only be disabled with Two-Step Verification.
SSL Certificate: We provide an SSL Certificate for each domain with Advanced Security. You can use the certificate with
Name.com hosting, or with any other hosting provider.
These features can be accessed by navigating to the domain details page for a specific domain, and then clicking the "Advanced Security" button in the left side menu.
Domain Lock Plus and privacy protection are not applicable on certain TLDs. SSL only available while using Name.com nameservers.
