Hi I recently got an Airtel Fibre connection. I've noticed that my 5GHz network is not detected by my Amazon fire stick.

My fire stick used to detect the previous internet 5Ghz fine but not Airtel.
My mobile and PC is able to connect to the Airtel 5Ghz fine so I know its active.

I've googled around and seen the suggestion is to change the channel from "auto" to some other number but for the life of me I cannot figure out where to change this setting. I can access the router settings and can see the channel is set to 52 and bandwith 80 but no way to change it.

Hoping this info helps:

Device ID:TJ2100N-14B
TEJAOS Version:2.3.4

Thanks

For ref this is what my page looks like

Fire TV Stick does not detects DFS channels. Change channel to any non-DFS one.

I managed to find the setting after digging more. It's under Wireless > Radio > Channel Specification.

I set the 5ghz channel to 36 and now it's being detected by my fire tv! 🙂

Yesterday I phoned customer service and they just told me to reset the name/password and told me if it's still not showing then it's not compatible smh. Useless people.
