multiuser setup ZTE ZXDSL 531B

I have ZTE ZXDSL 531B bsnl type II modem (4 lan's 1 wifi).. how to set up the multiuser connection so that i can use all the 4 pc's simultaneously by connecting to internet..
Plz. help me out step by step..
N also do tell me the basic start-up set up after receiving ID and password..

1.Did you get any CD from BSNL or user manual for this modem ??
Mostly available in Russian web sites.
2.Try this for guidance. Should be similar.
In the WAN page
Select VPI VCI as 0 and 35 for Datone.
Select PPP/PPPoE or similar.
Enter your Bsnl ID without @ bsnl.in
Enter Password
Select ALWAYS ON.
ENABLE DHCP GIVE RANGE 192.168.1.3 TO 192.168.1.30 ETC

If one computer is set , TRY IN OTHER COMPUTERS ONE BY ONE.
Select in TCP/IP properties assign IP address automatically. IN ALL computers.
Then connect each computer to lan1, 2, 3 , & 4. Hope this helps. Any problem please report back.

thanks buddy it helped me a lot but actually there is no option to set it always on in 531B.. but still it helped me out after getting around with my PC's as they were manually configured..thanx 'gain..
 
Congrats. I had downloaded the manual (77 pages) and "always On " is available.
I do not have this modem !

after opening in IE delete .th to see full blowup. ( file name given wrongly ! 831 instead of 531!)
 
I could able to configure ZTE ZXDSL 531B in PPP/PPPoE mode, but only gmail and orkut is opening, no any other websites are not opening. Please help me why I am not ale to browsing any other websites except gmail/orkut in ppp/pppoe mode.

Are you HAVING SAME PROBLEM IN both 531B AND 831aii MODEMS ?
cHECK mtu VALUE. TRY 1492.
 

I am using only 531b ....when I am using in bridge mode every thing is fine, but only the trouble in ppp/pppoe mode. I tried with mtu 1492 in ppp/pppoe mode, but still only gmail/orkut is opening....still no other website is opening....plz help here....

I am getting the same problem. In pppoe mode only google,gmail,orkut & some other websites open.While in Bridge mode everything runs fine. Is there some Firmware problem with this modem?

1. Try Opera Turbo and check.

2. Change MTU to 1452 and check.
 
MTU is already set to 1452 Problem is why the ZTE 531B router is just connecting to Google,G Mail & Orkut & cannot open Yahoo,Hotmail etc in PPPoE mode, while it works well in Briged mode? I have applied the same settings to UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 & the router works nicely in both Briged & PPPoE modes
 
Tried the Turbo feature of Opera ? Works well in such cases.

I think both units r have same hardware board/ menu pages.

Re check MTU and dns entries.
