Do anybody have any idea of EVDO mobile Broadband being provided by MTS on its CDMA network. What about coverage, speed, dependability and tariff etc...

Hi Ranjit,

I have a MTS Blaze connection in Mumbai. It works adequately. It is not as fast a Photon+ connection tho.
Average download speeds are around 40-60KBps, depends on coverage and time. Speeds with a download manager (4 connections per link) are around 100KBps. Youtube videos can be seen once i let them buffer for a few minutes.

MTS TV also works - it is a little skippy at times.

On a side note, the above speeds are on a laptop with windows. I get pathetic speeds on my macbook which is being used at the same location. Average file download speeds on the macbook are around 10-15KBps (without download manager).

Well I am purchasing one todayfor demo i tried to download a file from link-removed the speed was around 150 Kbps with download manager Speed is good so i am going for it today 😉
