i do not think dsl connections can support torrent peering. youtube is easy because isps can cache popular videos locally resulting in improved performance.

if you can find a nice one. you can try out reliance 4mbps plan that gives 3.4mbps which probably would struggle with 1080p YouTube streams :(

If you can live with fup, even Airtel and mtnl have 4/8 mbps well within your budget. Look for plans on respective websites.

reliance is cheap. and when it works, it works well. though quality of service depends upon how nice their people in your area are. they are not very nice in my area.

yes i know mtnl is offering 8mbps in 1195 but only upto 20 GB but my monthly usage is 50-60 GB
i have checked both sites for the plans and i have been searching all day for the best brodband but no luck.
i have contacted spectranet nextra tikona siti broadband and almost all of the providers except reliance all say it is not available in my area

If you can live with 1.7mbps and the said fup, go ahead.

I guess since all DSL traffic is routed through the dslam where port speeds are fixed, it is not possible to deploy high speed peering on ADSL. Might be wrong though.
