In Mumbai I can do just by calling. They will confirm it by calling back in a day (may be I used my mobile) and middle of my plan they changed it and billed half and half accordingly.
They told me it will happen from next month billing/cycle , had to call them three times , they hang up immediately without listening if i have any other questions .
