fwiw, flagtel is rcom.

well then i have no hope left...have asked for a port change...if that does/does not happen..ill just hope they fix it in a few months or years..

What are the stats like when you're fscung latency issues?

Any neighbor etc to check with?

You might want to terminate this connection and apply for a new one after a week with new wiring. Also, since you'll be getting a new connection, you're most likely to be assigned a new Alcatel/SOTL port. Might want to give that a shot if nothing works out.

No idea 😀

Switch to 8mbps, if you want awesome latency. But I don't think your line would be able to handle it.
There is no 8mbs in delhi right? :/
I am also facing problems with mtnl routing issues, they seem to be routing through UK then to Singapore.

Here is my tracert, and this becomes worse on any other day than Sunday, feels like there is heavy traffic during working days so i get more latency and its not even constant.

And a lot more people are facing this ping issue and on not jsut MTNL...airtel..reliance..tata...everyone..
Stats are the same on normal/high ping.....im already on SOTL..they are refusing to change the port at the moment without a valid reason...and latency isnt one for them...

Ping was fine yesterday whole day...back to high pings today..

Yup..... ping issues r there on 2Mbps....... 2 of my frnds in Vile Parle too r facing massive ping fluctuations for the last 2 weeks using the 550 plan...... They r on SOTL ..... am on Ericsson.....

I play with them online regularly...... my ping on 8Mbps stay constant while they hav 100-200ms flux.....

Am trying to create a PPTP VPN..... so they can connect thru me.... tht will increase their ping by 18ms...... but atleast it will be constant....
Will try OpenVPN setup later for more stability......
Hav to read so many guides to learn how to set this up........
