MTNL modem giving problems

hi there,I recently got MTNL 649 connection..My modem is MT882 given by MTNL..My connection drops anytime and on modem connection setting it shows the reason of disconnectionn- modem hangs up.. Also I need to enter my password and username whenever I start modem or reboot it.Is there anybody who also share the same router/modem and help me with the settings.

VPI/VCI 0 and 32 for MTNL . DNS use 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222

Every time you connect and disconnect this could happen.
