MTNL mail

I'am unable to send or receive mails at my newly created email id with MTNL. I can open my mail box but that is it nothing more. I am not using any mail client. Can anybody help?

Do you mean you are trying to access your MTNL mail account from the MTNL website ?

Are you able to log in successfully into your account ? What is the exact error message ?

Y in heavenz name wud ne1 want ta acces MTNL's mail...
Aisi bhi kya kami padh gayi other mailz ki??? 🤔

Some sites don't accept webmail addresses for identification. They ask for a POP3/IMAP account address, before you can access their services.

This is just one of the reasons 🙂

Wat exact kinda sites r v talkin abt here???
Can they detect if the type of adress is an HTTP one or an POP3 one??? 🤔

This may be an obscure example, but here is one site that does not accept popular webmail addresses such as Yahoo, Hotmail etc. for registration :

hi in case u need, u can acces thru ms outlook.just configure outgoing smtp.mtnl.net.in incoming pop.mtnl.net.inthis shud work. or callup helpdesk 1504

1504 cannot solve most of the problems as they have 10 std - 12std pass /fail agents who do not know much about internet except the standard documnet they refer to when the service clients.
