MTNL IPTV: IPTV Down time

Since IPTV and Triband both work on the DSL Can you guys tell me what happens when our Triband is facing an outage? Does ur Tv signal go kaput?We have been having a lot of outages especially this week all across Mumbai. I mean If we cant Connect to broadband,do u guys still have uninterrupted IPTV?

I don't think anyone else has IPTV here.... why don't you post a review (with pictures of the menu etc.)?
 
recent outage was due to tech probs or upgrade at prabhadevi for specific exchange.so if IPTV is served from exchange.. then it shud work but if IPTV is also served from prabhadevi, it wudnt work. but i guess IPTV is served by IOL broadband so may have not caused outage.this is just my theory nothing is sure.

Man If no one here has IPTV then I dont know who can have it in the whole of Mumbai.I've certainly never met anyone that has it installed and I know a lotta tech freaks
 
am still waiting for airtel iptv. and i am in gurgaon for god sake.
 

i wud go for IPTV but only after considering CAS which is not implemented in my area yet.
