MTNL Download speed

hi i hv mtnl 749NU plan and am experiencing vey low dwnld speeds like 25-30 KBps. everybody i know gets like 100-200 Kbps speed. can anyone sort this problem for me plz and also can u post ur download speeds.

check ADSL status page. make sure it shows 2048kbps and not 256kbps. if it shows 256kbps then go to ur exchange and meet the broadband dept head.u may complain to 1504 but it may work, it may not. so if u r in hurry to get 2048 then exchange it best place.

u r synced to 288 kbps whereas u shud be synced to 2048 kbps. Call MTNL and register ur complaint

yes thats the problem. go to exchange or call them and tell them that ur ADSL page shows on ly 288kbps whreas on 749 u shud get 2048

well, call the customer care 1504 and register a complaint there

@Ishu:you will need to bombard them with phone calls,emails or else they will not change your speed to 2mbps that easily
