On the pathways of MTNL(Mumbai) MTNL(Delhi) has also launched a high speed broadband plan of 8 Mbps Freedom Broadband plans Freedom 1195 and Freedom-1999.

1195 is probably cheaper than airtel.

FUP is better than Airtel. If only MTNL could just push post FUP speeds to 1 Mbps on all plans. I am sure many on Airtel will switch to MTNL.

Edit - The link shows 1495 and 1999 combo plans. Where is 1195 plan?

Is MAHANAGAR TELEPHONE NIGAM LIMITED working for anybody? I had put in a request to change to the 1999 plan but I am still getting my old speeds and since this is not opening, I cant check whether the plan has been updated in the system or not.
