Promotional scheme for IPTV & VoIP as “Diwali Dhamaka” only for first two thousand subscribers. The details of the scheme is given below :


For subscribers opting IPTV

a) Registration charges - Rs. 500/-

b) Set top box life time rental - Free

c) IPTV 102 Broadcast channel for 6 months - Free

d) VoD subscription charges for 6 month - Free

e) The TSTV subscription charges for 6 months - Free

f) Refundable Security deposit of set top box for Rs. 1000/-


For subscribers opting for both IPTV and VOIP together

a) Registration charges - Rs. 500/- (IPTV– Rs.300/- & VoIP – Rs.200/-)

b) Security deposit for Set top box - Nil

c) Set top box life time rental - Free

d) Life time rental for ATA – Rs. 1460/- (As per existing plan – it is mandatory

for subscribers to opt for lifetime rental scheme for ATA, they are not allowed

to opt for quarterly rental scheme for ATA)

e) IPTV 102 Broadcast channel for 12 months – free

f) VoD subscription charges for 12 months - Free

g) The TSTV subscription charges for 12 months - Free

h) VoIP ISD recharge coupons of Rs. 500/- - Free

3. Installation and cabling free upto 5 meter thereafter chargeable @ Rs. 20/- per meter.

4. All other charges will be applicable as per existing plans.

5. Only one connection will be allowed per home.

6. The booking for this scheme will start from 24.10.2007 to 11.11.2007 or first 2000 subscribers which ever is earlier.
 
if this comes to mumbai i will take it! but why mumbai is always left behind?
 
i got iptv today and they did charge me rs860 for one year's rental of stb and rs 1000 as security ... i will not be charged rs500 for the registeration and subscriptions for all channels + tstv + vod is free for 6 months
 
Wow thats cool offer from MTNL............Why MTNL-Mumbai always keeps behind.............If this offer comes to mumbai, I would take the second offer for sure i.e IPTV+VoIP!Come on Mtnl-Mumbai, wake up plz..............

Life time free STB is just awesome. I am still thinking if i shud go for it coz my cable wallah gives me free cable alreadynish lal why not cancel & rebook.....atleast u will have no rentals for STB
 
as far as i am concerned they have not charged 1000 bucks to be taken as security deposit.dontknow why ?
 
hmm..IPTV offer is good..voip from MTNL is a joke (talking generally..not abt any particular offering)
 
the real sore point for me has been thet cartoon network, discovery are only available in hindi🙁
 
well... star sports and espn are not listed on mumbai site as well.
 
oh btw, what wud happen if we are not in first 2000? do we have option to subscribe if and only if we are in first 2000?otherwise later we will know that installation and etc is charged in bill and monthly STB rent will be charged forever.
