MTNL & BSNL thwart moves to Unbundle Local Loop

To my mind, unbundling is the single most important thing that can be done to achieve high broadband penetration in India. It will result in a lot of competition and ultimately the consumer will benefit by having faster and unlimited connections..but it can happen only if the Govt. forcefully does it coz MTNL and BSNL will never voluntarily allow it..as is evident from the following article.

yeah. mtnl and bsnl are stupid. I am just hoping that WiMax, EVDO will take off and then we will see MTNL's and BSNL's stupid local loop coming back and biting them in their arse 😛h34r:
