MTNL Broadband to charge rental for modems and routers

Yes I noticed it yesterday.So looks like everyone will have to pay 55Rs more.

first i bought a mtnl wifi modem but it disconnecting so my father said all mtnl modem will give same problem so we bought TP-Link modem but i not yet return mtnl modem is they still charge 50 rs for just keeping mtnl modem i m using tp link wifi modem and mtnl modem is useless can they refund my 600 rs if i return their modem please reply.

'Everyone' as in only those who are having MTNL provided CPE's. Not the customers who have self owned CPE's. 🙂

If you are in possession of their CPE as per their records then you will be charged the rent. No that will not be refunded as its a one time payment. see Introduction point #3 in the Charges table below on that page. You better hurry & return it this month if you don't want the charges to continue.

^^ yes.. with everyone .. i meant those who got it from MTNL.@newhereu shud have asked for replacement. MTNL modems are good generally.anyway u wont get refund but if u dont return it then they will charge you.
