MTNL Broadband: Speed issues 899NU

Hi,

I have the 899NU plan. I stay right opposite the saki vihar mtnl telephone exchange. I think the 899NU plan should give me sppeds of upto 2Mbps.. but sadly i am not even getting 256kpbs.
Has nayone faced similar issues and can anyone help me wiht this?
Tried calling 1500 and 1504..but no one answered. guess saturday is off for them. My speed tst results below.



My DSL config on 192.168.1.1 says :
GLB-502T ADSL2+ Router
DSL Status: Connected
DSL Speed: 256/256kbps
Software Version: 3.7.0D.1

even i am facing the same issue. 849NU is supposed to give download speed of upto 2mbps. when i went to the exchange the mtnl guy told me that they have put a download speed cap in place for 849 nu plan. man, this sucks. its better to go for the 256 kbps unlimited plan.
 
Hey guys, Just do a hard reset on your modem and it will return to factory settings.This trick solved my speed issues.
