Beware coz on Usage Summary page it still mentions:Night Unlimited (DSL_TRIB_59NU and DSL_NU_849) customers must switch OFF/ON ADSL Modem at 00 Hrs to start Night FREE session, and again at 08 Hrs to end Night FREE session. Please verify your tariff plan in "View Services" section, before you start using Triband during Night free period.Caveat Emptor.
 
I dont think they will implement this for Delhi users as they have already closed this plan for new users in Delhi. They wouldnt bother for the older customers I am sure.
 
Yes. I just upgraded to MTNL Triband DSL 849NU from my previous 590NU and i do see that they are still calculating after 10pm. is it possible to get it implemented for 590 NU. since both r NU plans & ppl with old NU plan are loosing out.

hmm we must press for it to be implemented for 590NU. unfair it some NU users get it and other don't cost for them is same as far as bandwidth is concerned. Morcha nikalo. Email karo.

I wrote an email to ED, GM & DGM (Broadband) yesterday about the non-implementation of the extended timing of NU period to @a users. Haven't received a reply yet.

:dance: News, finally MTNL has implemented the new night unlimited period for @a users. I had used up 1277MB out of my daytime limit of 1280MB as of yesterday and did not dare to use it further even after 10pm. Today when I logged into the 'usage check' site my daytime usage is logged as just 1024MB. Also noticed that they have deducted all the megabytes of usage after 10pm from November 9th onwards. Way to go MTNL..........:urock:
 
Guess it was a bit of a premature celebration. Although MTNL has reset the accounted volume for sessions starting after 10pm since 9th November for @a users, it seems they have not implemented the timings in real time because I am still getting billed even after logging post-10pm as indicated in the images below.
 
Thankfully you checked and I luckily read your post as I was about begin downloading as if it was beyond 12am. But I believe they will deduct 'after 10pm' usage again. Lets wait and watch unlike what I conveyed through my earlier post.
 
@t3chg33k: If you login after one day and check that session again then it will be reset to zero.
There's is still a bug in the software which accounts the download after 10PM on that day but resets it the next day.

By the way I received a call from MTNL 2 days after I sent the email to them. Unfortunately I couldn't receive the call myself but they seemed to have corrected my account usage after receiving that mail.
