MTNL Broadband: How To do Port Forwarding for UT300R2U Router

Hi,

I wanted to known If I can do port forwarding on my UT300R2U Router.

The Virtual Server setup is given under NAT....

yes you can do via virtual server.
1)choose custom server and enter ANY NAME you wish
2)server ip address would be your PC's local ip , you can get this by typing ipconfig in your command prompt.. should be of the form 192.168.1.x mostly
3)keep the external and internal port no as same.. if you want to open say port 80 , then start and end port would be 80

I needed port forwarding to increase my uTorrent speed. I don't notice any increase in speed though.
 
Damn You speedguide.net 😡 . Ever since I "tweaked" my uTorrent & tcpip settings my speed has gone from bad to worse. :wall:
 
you dont need to open 10 ports.. only 1 port is enough.. and you need to make sure that utorrent is also listening to the same port..also make sure no firewall is blocking
