Seems like MTNL (Delhi) has started 500 mbps and 1 gbps plans!

BTW I first came across this news in a post by a member called "swatkats" on techenclave forum 😀 Gotta give credit where credit is due.

MTNL Delhi has new fiber to the home (FTTH) broadband plans -- Rs. 1/GB at 500Mbit/s and 1Gbit/s Speeds!! ;) Majority of them are lucrative: http://mtnldelhi.in/ftth/tariff.html - Since MTNL is merging with BSNL, Can we see such plans on BSNL?

That's the best plans among the bigger ISPs. MTNL used to give stable foreign speed to me atleast too. I wish there were similar plans when I was there. Hopefully BSNL follows suit in major cities

Woah! So after ACT and Airtel, we have a PSU gigabit speeds. That's actually pretty impressive! How is latency like in MTNL?

When will bsnl have these types of plans?.. These plans are absolutely mind blowing .Wish i could get this with my current BSNL FTTH..

MTNL has a surprisingly good backend.
From what I've heard it has great latency which is comparable to airtel.

I might actually consider dumping Jio FTTH and take MTNL. Jio has poor pings, extremely poor routing and just too many restrictions. I am still unable to run it under bridge mode.

Hello! If you are on JioFiber and you are getting slow speeds on LAN also? Please share here! I am noticing slow speeds (both download and upload). Speeds were awesome only when the connection was newly installed. Now, Speeds are low at multiple occasion ranging between 70-90 Mbps Strictly: LAN

Don't put too much hope on Mtnl routing just because people are saying so.

MTNL is less aggressive compared to BSNL. Mumbai and Delhi can have good services and FTTH in mass only when merger is done and BSNL takes over the MTNL (if they plan to do so).

If Delhi and Mumbai has huge competition from other private companies already then Delhi and Mumbai has the big pocket customer base as well which wants Service on FTTH.
