Sim- MTNL 3G Prepaid Sim
Dongle- D-Link DWP 157
Plan- 1650 unlimited plan(200 GB Cap I know)
Area- South Extension Part-1,New Delhi
I was using this plan for last 2 months in the same location but suddenly 20 days ago the speed was not going beyond 50 kbps.I complained at 1503 4 times they said they solved the issue and I even got the message from them .I even sent mails at 1503@bol.net.in however most of the mails get delayed and return back because of their overridden mail system.But still 2 mails reached them and the complaints got registered and they said they solved it but still the same issue .I am getting full signals(5 bars) and can even call people but still there is no increase in speed.
My attenate varies from -85dbm to -60dbm.
The thing is all the conditions were same before also and I used to get 1.5 to 2.5 MBps speed then why sudden drop in speed.My data was not finished(170 GB remaining) and even my mobile was recharged.On the same location I have used Vodafone which gives me speed varying from 1.3 to 2 MBps.My dongle works perfectly fine as I have tested it and my PC is fine to😵n my several complaints the woman CC attendant told me that MTNL satellite was not working whereas there was no such thing.Finally they told me to go to Sanchar Haat but there they said that complaints for mobiles is controlled by head office.So, I had to go there which was basically a complete MTNL building with 5 or 6 floors with servers and everything.There every person that I went sent me to the other.However,I met someone in the end who did a speed test and then sent a techinal support person at my house but that dumb person didn't knew any difference in kbps and KBps and said that I am getting fine speeds . I tried mtnl sim on different locations to but same speeds.How can this happen???
What seems to me is that they have capped the speed on my no. and despite several calls they are not going to remove cause half the staff odesn't know anything about this capping and say that MTNl don't do such a thing and the other half is busy bitching ,gossiping . So ,what else could be the reason according to you ??
Please tell me as this thing is getting painful.
Should I close this number and but new number or are just the signals shit in my area .
