I'm unable to open MT882 configuration page. The address that I type is 192.168.1.1 but still explorer says:Unable to connectFirefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.1.* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.I have also tried it in Internet Explorer but configuration page does not open. Please help....

well...

If you are Using XP,
double click on the network icon from the taskbar (near to clock). if not available, go to Start->Settings=>Network Connections, and double click the connected LAN.

Click on support. and check for the IP address, and gateway
if gateway is 192.168.1.1, then use this in IE,firefox http://192.168.1.1
If it is 192.168.0.1, use that as in IE http://192.168.0.1 . if you still not able to get, type the IP address with last number as 1..

ie, if ur ip is 192.168.4.2, type http://192.168.4.1

You may get either 192.168.0.1 or 1.1 . post the results..

All the best

If you are not able to access 192.168.1.1 dosnt means that you should go for reset ..why dont you check it out ?..1. ping your modem/router ?(post how it is connected to your PC from where your are trying to access it )2. If you get ping repply ,check your firewall even disable it if not check your ip configuration again.post your network connection/ip configuration of your modem/pc . try this and postReset:There is a small pinhole back side of modem , power on your modem and put pin or someting similar (should not be sharp ) insert it inside that pin-hole and press little for about 8-10 sec. router will reboot itself. wait let it come up again and fire your browser type 192.168.1.1 (if this is yoor modem IP) admin admin will be your username and password (not sure ) you shoul know about it before resetting it.
