Finally my Moto Z Play got Nougat update today morning. Was quite surprised to get it after reports that update would arrive by March 2017.

Motorola rolling out Android 7.1.1 to the Moto Z Play

I dont have this app as of now on my Z Play. Would this app be bundled with 7.1.1 update?
BTW I didnt get any notification for 7.1.1 update on my Z Play.

Finally got 7.1.1 update this weekend for my Moto Z Play.
Icons are changed. I already had installed Duo, so not sure if its added. Power button also got "Restart" option now.

Got Oreo 8.0 update for Moto Z Play today.

As expected all Oreo related changes are observed like Changes in Notification, Phone app, Battery saver notification bar. During incoming or outgoing call something like heart rate monitor icon is displayed in notification bar (need to search online what it is).
Motorola has also added few changes like Moto display and Weather widget is changed. Besides default launcher is now called Moto App launcher instead of Google launcher. Cannot find Google launcher in App list, also cannot find any setting for Moto launcher as well to change app icon size or create folders/hide apps. Hence I am sticking to Nova launcher.
