Yep ordered it already 🤣

Gawd I hope I wasn't right about the Wi-Fi conspiracy theory.

Phone isn't showing Wi-Fi 6E network. Now either it's disabled in operating system level or my TP-Link xe75 mesh has disabled the 6E band 🤦🏻‍♂️ which I doubt because Moto webpage mention 6E may not be available in some locations.

Other than that it's pretty lightweight , lighter than my current moto edge 20 fusion.

144hz display is silky smooth as to be expected.

Android 12 is meh.

Battery life I need to wait a week or two for the device to calibrate battery consumption I guess but right now it's dropping by around 10% every hour of moderate usage.

Wi-Fi 6 working well getting 800+ mbps speed which matches my mom's mi 11x and my laptop.

Just bummed about the lack of 6E and it all but confirm my suspicions that Moto has given gag order under NDA to reviewers not to talk about it because I got no response from anyone I asked about it.

Firmware baseband info showing xxx_ DUBAI_PVT_CUST_xxxx 👀

Download this app then turn on location. On your first screen you'll see wifi 6E support Enabled or not... Share the results. Thanks 🙂

It shows 6 ghz band Wi-Fi 6E support YES in the Wi-Fi adapter details section. So I guess it might be enabled in a future update, at least I hope.

Thanks for pointing out this app.

@vishalrao I assume Moto Edge 30 Pro comes with Google phone dialer app. Does it support call recording?
And which app do you use for Office email account, MS Outlook or any other?

I am wondering whether to go for Samsung S22 plus or Moto Edge 30 Ultra launching soon with SD 8+ gen 1 which has better heat management.

Yes, Google dialer supports call recording but being satyavadi, it informs the other party that "your call is being recorded."
If call recording is a necessity, then avoid Google dailers. Your only bet would be Samsung ones coz only they are allowed to have their own custom dialer, which supports call recording.

All moto phones come with Google dialer with "this call is being recorded" thing whenever you start the recording.
