modem - wifi combo replacement, any suggestions?

I am using mtnl supplied device 450 tc1....

I am looking to replace this with my own device, Any suggestions? Does D-Link or TP-Link prove better stability and throughput?

With my current mtnl supplied device, I have no major issues except it does not provide wifi signal from 1 room to other. And there are periodic disconnect but I guess they may not be due to modem. Any thoughts?
 
Me to want to change the mtnl provided CPE want a new 1 what is the procidure to do so ?? any 1 help plz

I have gone ahead and bought D-Link 2750u, it's working fine so far, covers decent range for wifi.

To submit mtnl owned modem, we need to go to exchange and provide letter indicating same.
