I keep my modem online for at least 14 hours per day. At times, I let it on for a week! Recently my Belkin modem started showing random disconnections even though I tried to disable the wireless mode completely. Though I have warranty, I don't want to rely on it any more. It's only 6 months old and I can't even use the wireless without frequent disconnection. So, I'm looking for a second modem and let belkin work as a stand-by. 🙂Any suggestion on a better modem?I'm mostly a wired-user, rather than wireless user. Thanks

Well, my D-Link(DSL-2640U) wifi adsl router is switched on 24x7 with atleast one computer online and I haven't observed any issues like connection drops, unless it's an issue from the ISP side (I use Airtel).

I do have have a Belkin N+ router with which I've seen connection issues.

You may try a Netgear, D-link or an Asus Adsl router.
You
