modem on rent then how'z payment...

Taken a modem on rent.I made a payment of security deposit of Rs500. which they tell it is refundable.Now,i want to know that how the rent of Rs100 is taken does it comes in the telelphone bill or we have to go n pay every month. If i wld like to purchase the rented modem can i ??If yes,then what r steps to be done ..can i take it after a month or after someperiod n how'z more amount i have to pay then(Rs1200 modem)
 
Modem rent will be added in Telephone bill each month.Regards
