Mobile Numbers in India may go from 10 digits to 11

This has raised the subscriber base to 346.9 million at the end of year 2008.



According to the US Bureay of Census, US population on 5 Apr 2009 at 10:20 GMT is 306,153,030
We have 347 million cell phones against 306 million US population. Worth feeling happy about.

You mean 30% of the population is in the defence services; what a drain on the national resources - I mean salaries and benefits!

yup i saw a number of them manning foot massage parlours in shenzhen 😛..when they are not at the border they also help out in the numerous small scale export oriented production houses that china boasts of 😛
