why microsoft 365 pricing is so confusing?
can I buy their 365 business basic plan for one users? Rs 150*12= 1800? is this not available for single user?
365 personal plan is Rs 5000 for same 1TB storage.
and One drive standalone costs Rs 1500 but only offers 100gb storage.

Just the 1tb storage.
Get the six user pack. Costs around 5K. Comes with Office. Share with friends. Single user is also available but price difference is negligible iirc.
Though I suppose Microsoft 365 Business Basic might also work. No desktop apps but costs Rs. 1500 per year 🤔
Just get from here. Single user should be fine.
Or just post in the thread in the private forum and share an existing license. Should cost you ~800 rupees for both 1TB storage and Office per year.

It seems like new members have to be added to a 'family' or else they can't share the Microsoft 365 subscription.
Not really. We have people sharing the connection without being added to the family.
