Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful has been banned for eight years (three years suspended) by the BPL anti-corruption tribunal for his involvement in match and spot-fixing in the 2013 Bangladesh Premier League.

Dhaka Gladiators' managing director Shihab Chowdhury has been banned for ten years (three years suspended) for fixing, former New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent is out for three years, and Sri Lanka batsman Kaushal Lokuarachchi gets an 18-month ban for failing to report an approach. In February, Vincent had admitted to not reporting a bookie's approach.

Ooh. Bangladesh has a Premier League!

Vincent's name was first linked with an ICC Anti-corruption and security unit (ACSU) match-fixing investigation last December. Two months later, he admitted being approached by an illegal bookmakerduring the 2013 Bangladesh Premier League. After charges were laid by the ECB in May, he expectedfurther charges relating to his appearances for Auckland Aces in the Champions League. He was subsequently banned for life from participating in the Champions League after pleading guilty to seven charges related to spot-fixing.

When Pakistani's were involved they were put in prison. (by ECB and England)
Vincent gets just a life ban?!

I think ECB is yet to complete its charges & the case may not have been heard yet & he may yet go to jail... The ban has come from ICC I believe...

No ban has come from ECB
