I don't know much about this plan by reliance before. People were laying orange colored cables near our home in Coimbatore (Thudiyalur area) couple of weeks ago. i asked one of a person in command there and he said its 4G technology and it will be launched within March or April. Then I searched in internet and got to know its Reliance Jio.

Seen guys wearing Reliance Jio work jackets in the town outskirts laying two black cables on old Bsnl poles but don't know if it's for FTTH or 4g hopefully it's the former

reliance is paying bsnl around 4k per pole to use it
