Maruti Gypsy gets repeat order from Army, 4,100 this time | The Indian Express

Suzuki needs to bring back this model to consumer market. This was one of my favorite cars when I was a kid. Would love to have it back on the roads with a modern engine and improved interiors.

I am going to bet that Mahindra Thar of today has shittier interiors compared to Maruti Gypsy from 1990s 😀

I don't the Gypsy has changed one but from its launch look in the 80s.

They do not even need to! Retro is in. Thar sells because it looks like the jeeps from the World War era. Enfield sells for the same reason. You just need a modern engine and if possible comfortable interiors.
