Cornerstone is a company that manages Virat Kohli. CSE is a sister company of Cornerstone which has launched a clothing line Wrogn and a chain of Fitness Centers under the brand name Chisel in which Virat Kohli is a major investor.

Cornerstone also manages Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Murali Vijay and Ishant Sharma(some of whom have moved to them in the last year or so).
Virat Kohli does not own shares of Cornerstone but clearly has a joint ownership of brands with CSE which is a sister concern of Cornerstone. If CSE does well Cornerstone benefits and vice versa. So this sister concern distinction is clearly hair splitting, perhaps meant to hoodwink the BCCI and bypass any legal hurdles that could come up.

M S Dhoni was pilloried because he at one stage owned shares of Rhiti Sports which managed him and several other Indian players.
Effectively many key Indian players are now managed by a company which not only manages the Indian Test Captain but also jointly owns businesses with him.
Can someone please explain how this is not conflict of interest while M.S.Dhoni's case was? I am not at all justifying what Dhoni did, just pointing out that Kohli is doing the same.
